Daniel Murphy homered Saturday night at Citi Field as he continued his hot streak against his former teammates on the Mets.
Murphy hit a two-run homer off Antonio Bastardo in the seventh to give Washington a 6-1 lead. He also had an RBI single and RBI double. Murphy also homered off Bastardo in the series opener Thursday.
Murphy has six homers and 19 RBIs this season against the Mets in 12 games. He's hitting .438 against New York and has at least two hits against them in eight of his past 10 games.
