Everyone knows that every episode of the Simpsons begins with Bart writing something over and over again on the blackboard. Most of it is stuff he's already done and swears he won't do it again.
So there I was Sunday night saying everything bad I could think about Daniel Murphy. His glove was awful, he was a knucklehead. He's not a power hitter. It was rip city.
But at about 8:50 on Monday night, I saw the light: Murphy is awesome, blasting a game-winning 3-run homer and making a gold glove play in the field.
I know he will tick me off again and I know he will drive me nuts, but I will never rip him for as long as he is a Met, which by the way, is only the rest of the season at the most.
