NEW YORK -- What happened?

For a second straight night, the New York Mets lost to the lowly Atlanta Braves on Saturday.

Now, the Mets send Jacob deGrom to the mound trying to avoid getting swept. DeGrom (3-3, 2.82) opposes right-hander Julio Teheran (2-7, 2.93) on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. ET at Citi Field.

SUNDAY’S NEWS REPORTS:

  • Wilmer Flores was thrown out at the plate in the bottom of the ninth while trying to score from first base on James Loney's double.
