A New Jersey man accused of forging the signature of chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon and other Mets officials pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal wire fraud charge, Jonathan Stempel reports at Reuters. Writes Stempel: “[Michael] Conway had been president of Choice Office Solutions LLC, which bought office equipment such as copiers and scanners, and leased them to businesses such as universities and hospitals, as well as the Mets.
