PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- It’s game day at New York Mets camp.
OK, it’s only a noon intrasquad game on Tuesday. But it’s a game nonetheless.
“Pitchers’ BPs, I’ve seen enough,” Terry Collins said Monday, referring to recent batting-practice sessions at camp. “I’m sure some of these hitters have too.”
For those planning to attend, there is a $6 charge for the intrasquad game at Tradition Field, which goes to charity.
Also scheduled to pitch: Logan Verrett, Zack Thornton, Chasen Bradford, Akeel Morris, Duane Below, Seth Lugo and Josh Smoker.
