HARTFORD 8, BINGHAMTON 6: With the B-Mets leading 4-2, Rainy Lara allowed Hartford's first five men to reach in the fifth. The damage included Noel Cuevas' go-ahead three-run double, followed by Ryan McMahon's two-run homer. The B-Mets had built a 4-0 lead in the first inning on Victor Cruzado's three-run homer. Lara (6-9) was charged with seven runs on 10 hits in five innings. Matt Oberste went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in the loss.
