Dominic Smith contributed a two-run homer with two outs in the first inning. Binghamton grabbed a 3-0 lead in the third when Niuman Romero's two-out single plated Jared King, who narrowly dodged a tag from catcher Wilkin Castillo. Matt Oberste opened a four-run lead in the fifth with an RBI single.
