Milone struggles as Mets drop finale to Angels

The win allowed Los Angeles to avoid a sweep at Citi Field, against a Mets team that entered the series on a seven-game losing streak. Though Jay Bruce hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning to stir the 39,501 in attendance, Andrelton Simmons' three-run shot in the seventh thwarted the Mets' comeback attempt.
