Mike Francesa goes off on the hapless Mets: ‘Fire all of ‘em’

As if his live-action rant wasn’t enough, Mike Francesa wanted to make extra sure everyone knew.

“Yes, the Mets annoyed me this afternoon,” the WFAN host tweeted.

It’s no wonder why: Todd Frazier’s homer in the top of the ninth gave the Mets a 2-1 lead over the Phillies in Philadelphia, while Amed Rosario’s ground-out scored Dominic Smith for a two-run cushion.

And then, the Mets went full Mets: Edwin Diaz gave up a two-run homer to Maikel Franco that knotted the score and then gave up a three-run walk-off shot to Jean Segura to give the Phillies a 6-3 win, completing Philadelphia’s four-game sweep.
