Mickey Callaway believes New York Mets will be in a ‘good spot’ at season’s end

Despite the issues surrounding the New York Mets ballclub, they’re not in a horrible position right now. They’re only two games under .500, and five games out of first place. Not to mention, there are still 100 games to play in the regular season.

New York just won two out of three against the San Francisco Giants as well. Jason Vargas pitched a complete game shut out on Wednesday, and the Mets’ bats rallied late to top the Giants 7-3 on Thursday.

Following Thursday’s win, manager Mickey Callaway expressed his confidence in his team, per Alex Smith of SNY.
