Mickey Callaway believes New York Mets need to ‘step it up’ after Monday’s loss

The thin chance of the New York Mets making the postseason just lost even more weight. New York fell 8-4 to the Miami Marlins on Monday night. They’re now 5.0 games back in the National League Wild Card race with six left to play.

Technically, New York is still in it, despite the fact that it’ll take an incredible miracle for them to play baseball in October. Because of this, manager Mickey Callaway believes the team will continue to fight to the very end.
