Michael Cuddyer is perfectly content letting his Mets teammate, Matt Harvey, make the headlines on the field — glaring at Chase Utley anyone? — or in the first installment of the 2015 Subway Series.
The Mets' left fielder, who is experiencing the series between the cross-town rivals for the first time in his debut season in Flushing, said he wants no part of saying which New York team owns the city.
"I don't get into any of that stuff. We just go out and play the game. Whatever else occurs is going to occur," Cuddyer said Friday, prior to the Subway Series opener at Yankee Stadium.
