Leftfielder Michael Conforto's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth scored third baseman Josh Rodriguez from third and gave Mets Double-A affiliate Binghamton a 6-5 walkoff win over New Britain on Sunday.
Rodriguez's RBI single with runners on the corners and none out in the ninth had tied the score at 5-5.
Conforto, the Mets' top pick in the 2014 draft, has reached base via a hit or walk in all 14 of his games at Double-A. He's batting .362 with a .500 on-base percentage and .638 slugging percentage. The 22-year-old has hit in five straight.
