The buzz in baseball is that Mike Piazza is very likely to finally get in to the Hall of Fame on this year's ballot.
Piazza appeared on just 57.8 percent of ballots during his first year of eligibility. He got 62.2 percent in his second year and 69.9 percent last winter.
He contuinues to appear on 90 percent of the 107 ballots that have been revealed online by voters, according to BBHOF's tracker. It takes 75 percent to gain election into the Hall of Fame.
"I was a little disappointed, I can't lie about that," Piazza said after last year's vote.
