SNY.TV's Rob Brender talked with new Mets 2B Neil Walker yesterday at Tradition Field. In the interview, Walker said:
- The transition from the Pirates to Mets has been great, from how he's been treated by his teammates to the media.
- The chemistry in the clubhouse has been amazing, "And I'm excited to be part of it."
- Spring Training is about gaining familiarity with teammates, and he expects it will take a week or two to get a good read on new middle-infield partner Asdrubal Cabrera.
- He hasn't given a lot of thought to what will happen at the end of this season, when he'll be eligible to be a free agent.
