MILWAUKEE -- New York Mets manager Terry Collins was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee less than 30 minutes before Sunday's first pitch at Miller Park after complaining of feeling ill, assistant general manager John Ricco said.
"I was just with Terry. He's alert, fine," Ricco said. "He just wasn't feeling well before the game. So they're going to have some tests run. That's really all I have right now. ... Afterward, he was feeling OK. We're just being cautious here."
Ricco said he did not have any specifics about symptoms beyond that Collins felt ill.
