Sure, it’s just a Spring Training game, but it wasn’t just the odd no. 76 or no. 93 that normally star in spring games, as some of the big name Mets players had big days.
The action got started in the bottom of the first inning, when Yoenis Cespedes, making his spring debut, reached on an infield single. Newly acquired Todd Frazier smacked a double over the left fielders head, bringing Cespedes home. Frazier would also score later in the inning. In the bottom of the second, Yo was back, hitting a monster three-run shot down the left field line – a no doubter.
