Tonight’s game between the Mets and the Yankees has been postponed due to heavy downpours rolling through the Bronx. The game will be made up as part of a split admission doubleheader on Sunday. Both games will be seven inning affairs, with the first game starting at 2:05 p.m. and the evening contest airing on ESPN at 7:08 p.m.
The weather forecast looks messy for tomorrow as well, which means the two teams could be staring down their second consecutive rain out. For the Yankees, that would be three consecutive games washed away by Mother Nature.
