The Mets will monitor David Wright's health throughout the year as he looks to play a full season after his spinal stenosis diagnosis.
Mets GM Sandy Alderson recently guessed that Wright would play in 130 games this season, but wouldn't "go beyond or underscore that," he said.
"We're going to have to be mindful of his physical situation. We'll have to anticipate, rather than react, to that condition," Alderson said.
The GM said they will do whatever they can to understand and treat Wright's stenosis.
"It's hard to say right now, but we're going to way beyond monitoring his health.
