Mets: What happens with home field in NLDS if rain wreaks havoc?

With five games left in the regular season, the Mets lead the Dodgers by one game for home field in the NLDS. That lead is really two games since the Mets have the tie-breaker, but what happens if rain wreaks havoc on New York’s remaining schedule?

The Mets have two games left in Philadelphia, and it looks like Wednesday’s game should be played uninterrupted. Thursday is a bigger question, with rain forecast throughout the day and perhaps a small window to play between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

However, looking at the forecast for the weekend in New York, Hurricane Joaquin is expected to drench the city for the entire weekend, with very few breaks without precipitation.
