The New York Mets are still among the most active teams in both free agency as well as the trade market. While there have been mixed reports on whether the front office plans to go over the luxury tax threshold, one move that makes sense for the Mets is finding a way to move reliever Jeurys Familia’s one-year and $10 million left on his deal that sticks out like a sore thumb on the Mets current payroll.
