Before tonight’s game with the Blue Jays, the Mets made a number of roster moves. Pitcher Stephen Nogosek, called up last week during the Mets’s series with the Cardinals, is being placed on the 10-day Injured List with a sore shoulder. In his place, the Mets are calling up right-handed utility player Brandon Drury for his second tour of duty with the team this season.
The Mets also transferred David Peterson to the 60 Day IL after he fractured his foot walking; according to manager Luis Rojas, he didn’t stub it or step on anything, but rather was just a freak fracture.
