Mets to skip Lugo's rotation turn due to snowed out game

Due to Monday night's snowed out game, the Mets will be skipping Seth Lugo's turn in the rotation, the team announced.

Lugo had initially been scheduled to pitch on Tuesday against the Phillies, but Monday night's scheduled starter Matt Harvey will be making that start instead.

Noah Syndergaard will start Wednesday against the Phillies, and Jacob deGrom will start against the Nationals on Thursday in Washington, D.C.

Syndergaard, who started last Thursday on Opening Day, will be on five-days rest for his start. Alllowing Lugo to make his rotation turn would have allowed the Mets to have Syndergaard and deGrom start the first two games agains the Nationals.
