Mets To Hold Moment Of Silence For Slain NYPD Officer Moore Before Tuesday’s Game

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Mets will hold a moment of silence for slain NYPD Officer Brian Moore prior to their game against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night, VP of Media Relations Jay Horowitz confirmed to CBS 2 earlier in the day.

Moore, 25, died Monday, two days after being shot in the head while sitting in an unmarked squad car in Queens.

As part of the tribute, the Mets will display Moore’s image on the scoreboard and outside the stadium, the Daily News reported.

A wake for the Moore will be held Thursday with funeral services planned for Friday.
