Under the supervision of new General Manager Brodie Van Wagenen, this past off-season, the New York Mets have completely overhauled the entire roster from the previous year, and have been more active and more aggressive in their efforts to improve the team than at any time in recent memory.
Over the past several months leading up to the 2019 season, the Mets have parted ways with longtime players such as Wilmer Flores, Jerry Blevins, and Jay Bruce, while acquiring new talent to help bolster their major league roster in pursuit of a championship run.
