JUPITER, Fla. — The Mets hit the halfway point of spring training on Tuesday and remain unsure of when Todd Frazier and Jed Lowrie might be healthy again.
“Obviously, this is far from an ideal situation,’’ Lowrie said Tuesday morning at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie. “But all I can do at this point is focus on what I do today to get better to help the team win over the long haul. That’s what it is all about.’’
Lowrie (sprained left knee capsule) called his recovery “a marathon,’’ while Frazier took a small step forward Tuesday by running for the first time.
