Good teams make the opposition succumb to their strengths, like the Royals have done to the Mets. That said, I believe the Mets whole approach to Kansas City’s line-up has been wrong since the opening pitch of Game 1, and that they’ve played into their opponent’s hands ever since.
I was particularly peeved with the way the Mets starters abandoned their fastball during the opening two games at Kansas City.
