The Mets' offensive futility was again on full display in a 6-0 loss to the Braves, who completed a three-game sweep on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field.
In case you missed it…
- Jacob deGrom's winless streak now stands at nine starts, including three consecutive losses. The right-hander allowed three runs on five hits and a walk with six strikeouts in six innings. It is the first time deGrom (3-4) has been below .500 this late in a season since his rookie year of 2014.
- Michael Conforto's leadoff single in the third inning was the Mets' only hit of the afternoon against Julio Teheran.
