Mets sweep Nationals, 6-5, for fifth straight win

1) Yoenis Cespedes shook off an 0-for-5, three-strikeout effort to deliver the go-ahead single in the top of the 12th to help the Mets complete their first sweep of the Nationals since Sept. 7-9, 2015.

2) Seth Lugo worked out of a bases loaded, one-out jam in the ninth and tossed three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and three walks with three strikeouts. Jacob Rhame worked around a two-out double in the 12th for his first career save.

3) Adrian Gonzalez turned a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 edge with a grand slam off Tanner Roark in the third.
