Mets Struggle With Runners On In 6-1 Loss To Rockies

NEW YORK -- Carlos Gonzalez finished 2-for-5 with four RBIs Friday night as the Colorado Rockies remained red-hot with a 6-1 win over the New York Mets at Citi Field.

Gonzalez opened the scoring and extended his hitting streak to 11 games with an RBI double in the first and provided the Rockies plenty of insurance in the ninth with a long three-run homer.

Nick Hundley delivered a tie-breaking RBI single in the sixth while Mark Reynolds hit a solo homer in the eighth for the Rockies (51-52), who have won 11 of 15 since the All-Star Break.
