The Mets are starting to look toward October — and they hope their fans are, too.
The team sent out information to buy “ticket strips” to 11 home playoff games to their season-ticket holders on Tuesday.
The package covers all the permutations, from battling in the NL Wild Card game to possibly having home field in the Division Series and Championship Series to playing in three World Series games at Citi Field (the NL is the road team after losing the All-Star Game).
What’s the catch? You have to purchase the tickets by Aug. 31.
Prices for the strips go from $428 in the outfield promenade to $5,790 for Delta Platinum.
