Last week, we learned there may be a sale on Noah Syndergaard jerseys in the coming weeks. The New York Mets are reportedly mulling over the idea of extending Zack Wheeler and trading Syndergaard before the July 31 deadline. Beloved by many, Syndergaard is a flashy and electric young starter any team would love to have if only for the marketing.
There is no guarantee the Mets do either. In particular, I’m not so sure they trade Syndergaard with such little notice. In my personal opinion, I think they’re doing a few things right now.
