The New York Mets have had a very busy off-season thus far. After a disappointing 2018, the Mets made a lot of big moves over the past winter and appear as though they will be slated for a post-season run come next October.
In an effort to rejuvenate the Mets roster, new GM Brodie Van Wagenen started his tenure with the organization making a blockbuster trade to acquire the services of All-Star closer Edwin Diaz and second baseman Robinson Cano, as well as bringing back former closer Jeurys Familia to serve as Diaz’s set up man and help bolster bullpen.
