Mets signing reliever Justin Wilson to two-year, $10 million deal

The Mets active offseason resumed on Friday.

The team signed veteran lefty reliever Justin Wilson to a two-year, $10 million deal, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed.

To fix an abysmal bullpen this offseason, the Mets had previously traded for top closer Edwin Diaz with the Mariners. The team also signed its former closer Jeurys Familia to a three-year deal.

The contract will put the franchise’s projected payroll over $180 million, Sherman reports, which is a record for the team.

Wilson, 31, has pitched for the Pirates, Yankees, Tigers and Cubs in his seven-year MLB career.
