The Mets have signed outfielder Gregor Blanco to a minor league deal, according to Jon Heyman. The left-handed hitter will turn 35 years old next week, and he’s coming off a season in which he hit .217/.262/.317 with two home runs and 58 wRC+ for the Giants.
Having made his major league debut with the Braves back in 2008, Blanco has spent time with them, the Royals, and the Diamondbacks, but he’s been with the Giants for the vast majority of his major league career.
