The Mets announced this afternoon that they have signed right-handed relief pitcher Brad Brach, who was let go by the Cubs recently. In 39.2 innings with Chicago, he had a 6.13 ERA and 4.13 FIP.
Brach’s best work came in 2015 and 2016, though he was successful pretty much throughout his long tenure with the Orioles. He was traded to the Braves last year a couple days before the deadline and finished the season strong with them after struggling in Baltimore. In total, he had a 3.
