The Mets came out swinging in Game 3 of the NLDS against Brett Anderson and the Dodgers, winning 13-7. By the time the night was through, the Amazins’ set a new franchise postseason record.
Runs weren’t hard to come by in Game 3, and that’s why the Mets were able to break their record for most runs scored in a single postseason game (13).
Curtis Granderson also tied a Mets postseason record with five RBI in a single game. He was a catalyst on offense, ripping the go-ahead three-run double in the second inning and adding a two-RBI double later for extra insurance.
