Mets sending three players to Arizona Fall League

Jannis pitched to a 2.98 ERA in eight games (seven starts) for St. Lucie after signing out of the independent Atlantic League. The 27-year old also made one start at Double-A Binghamton, allowing three runs in 5 1/3 innings. He was a 44th-round selection of Tampa Bay in 2010.

New York signed Wheeler as a free agent in 2011 out of the University of California, Santa Barbara. The 26-year old is 5-1 with a 3.69 ERA in 40 relief appearances for Binghamton this season.
