In the wee hours of the morning, the Mets and Sean Manaea agreed to a three-year, $75m contract, according to Jeff Passan.
Manaea was integral to the Mets success in the second half of the season and in their playoff run, beginning with him changing his arm angle in late July to much success. The change also helped his bank account as well, as he opted out of the two-year, $28m contract he signed with the Mets last off-season, and rejected the qualifying offer to boot, earning himself a very nice raise this off season.
