Eric Young, Jr.
Young was acquired from the Braves last week in exchange for cash considerations. Young struggled with Atlanta in 35 games this season, hitting .169/.229/.273. Prior to the trade, he had been with Atlanta’s Triple-A affiliate.
With Young on the bench, there should be only two situations where the Mets call on him.
