One of the only bright spots this season has been the minor leagues. Several of the New York Mets prospects, with Peter Alonso at the forefront, have been exceeding expectations in 2018.
Alonso, who was called up to Triple-A Las Vegas after a stellar start to the season in Double-A Binghamton, recently partook in the annual All-Star Futures Game. This season, the game was held at Washington Nationals’ ballpark in Washington D.C. The park was host to a team of USA prospects and another team of Worldwide prospects.
