CINCINNATI -- Michael Conforto is quiet, but confident. The Mets prospect looked around the Reds clubhouse, which Sunday was filled with the top U.S. prospects in baseball, and said he is ready. The outfielder with left-handed hitting power was not just ready for the Futures Game, but the 22-year old is ready for whatever comes his way this season.
"I feel ready. I feel I am confident," Conforto said Sunday morning when asked if he was ready for the major leagues. "I think there are somethings I need to work on. I need to get better in the outfield.
