NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — New York Mets prospect Michael Conforto is aware — how could he not be? — that his major league debut may come as soon as Thursday.
But until he gets the call, the 22-year-old outfielder says his focus will remain on his current assignment at Double-A Binghamton.
“It’s cool to hear everything that’s going on, my name being thrown around. That’s awesome,” Conforto told SNY on Tuesday. “I let my self be excited about it. But at the same time, I try not to go over the top with it.
