Mets promote RHP prospect Justin Dunn to Double-A Binghamton

Mets RHP prospect Justin Dunn -- one of their top prospects -- has been promoted from High-A St. Lucie to Double-A Binghamton, reports Michael Mayer.

Dunn, 22, is coming off his best outing as a professional, having tossed 7.0 scoreless innings while allowing two hits, walking one, and striking out 10.

He had a 2.36 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 51 strikeouts in 45.2 innings this season for St. Lucie, allowing two earned runs or fewer in eight of nine starts.

The Mets selected Dunn 19th overall in the 2016 MLB Draft after he spent three years at Boston College.
