NEW YORK -- The New York Mets received some bling in a low-key ceremony Thursday. They also got some motivation for 2016, according to captain David Wright.
With New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on hand, players received National League championship rings before an off-day workout at Citi Field. Retired Michael Cuddyer traveled to New York at the invitation of Wright to participate. The Mets also flew in rehabbing Zack Wheeler and Josh Edgin from Florida.
