Playing in their first postseason game since 2006, the Mets defeated the Dodgers 3-1 on Friday evening at Dodger Stadium. On an extremely hot evening, the Mets managed to be even hotter. Matching up against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, the odds were strong that it would be a low-scoring game and this certainly proved to be true. In the midst of a scoreless tie leading off the fourth inning, Daniel Murphy stepped to the plate and managed to take a 2-0 mistake from Kershaw and do this with it:
