With many Mets regulars being sidelined this week due to injury, the bench and depth pieces on the roster have had to step up. And they have filled in admirably, as the Mets completed a sweep of the Diamondbacks to finish off a sunnier week of performance meters. The Mets also had a shorter week than usual, having played just five games over the past seven days. But they won four out of those five, one in dominant fashion, which means a good week for the offense.
With Todd Frazier remaining on the disabled list (he will likely need a rehab assignment before being activated), Wilmer Flores continues to get a lot of at-bats.
