Although the Mets have not looked as collectively lost at the plate this week as they have at other times throughout this season, they still struggled to score enough runs to win ballgames, going 2-6 on the week against two other bad teams in the Pirates and Marlins. Previously hot hitters in Brandon Nimmo and Jose Bautista had rough weeks at the plate, but others stepped up to fill the void.
