Mets Player Performance Meter: Position players, August 19-25

The Mets went 4-3 this week, taking two out of three from the Orioles at home—both wins coming in walk-off fashion—and splitting a critical series with the Padres on the road. It was really yesterday’s walk-off loss that was the dagger, but we’ll talk more about that in the pitching meter. On the offensive side, Francisco Lindor is carrying the team on his back and putting himself in the NL MVP conversation. Mark Vientos and Pete Alonso have stayed hot as well, while Francisco Alvarez remains mired in a deep slump.
