The Mets dropped two out of three to the A’s in disappointing fashion with the final game of the series being particularly excruciating before taking two of three from the Marlins over the weekend. From the perspective of the offense, this is definitely an improvement over being completely silenced by the Mariners pitching staff and the fault for the underwhelming results on the whole this week can really mostly be laid at the feet of the pitching staff. But still, that’s not to say there isn’t some poop to sift through here.
